Drs Catherine and Reg Hamlin arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 1959. Soon after, Catherine co-founded Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia, a health network dedicated to the treatment and prevention of obstetric fistula – a horrific childbirth injury.
