The Pfizer Foundation Donor-Advised Fund made a $500,000 grant to Stichting PharmAccess International, based in the Netherlands. Through innovative financing and delivery mechanisms, such as health insurance for the informal sector, standards for the quality of care, and loans for healthcare SMEs, PharmAccess improves access to healthcare in Africa. The grant will address access, affordability and quality barriers for essential medicines in Ghana.
